Hi there my dear With Torah and Love family!
I hope all of you had a wonderful Shavuot, full of meaning and learning. I know for me, it was wonderful to be able to be outside, study some Talmud in the grass (one of the best places to study for sure), and be in community.
I wanted to let you know about my new class with the B’nai Jeshurun Congregation in Cleveland, OH. Rabbi Hal Rudin-Luria has generously opened the class up to everyone and I wanted to make sure you were invited.
Talmud: Disputes for the Sake of Heaven with Rabbi Jeremy Markiz
When: Thursdays at noon (Eastern)
Description: Talmud is one of the foundational sources of Judaism. By unpacking the discussions of the rabbis, we can uncover powerful wisdom to guide and inspire us. Join in on this journey as we closely read the text, learn how the Talmud works, and make it relevant for our lives today.
You can find all of their learning opportunities and the Zoom link at the button above.
However, for security reasons, they are not sharing the password to the class publicly. So, if you want to join, please send me an email and I’ll give you the password.
It was a few weeks ago, but I also wanted to let you know that I contributed this Dvar Torah to the Washington Jewish Week on Parashat Behar about the power of our words.
