As we look at this week's Torah portion, Lech Lecha, I find myself struck by the small details. After God instructs Abraham, who is still named Abram at this time, to go out into the unknown, Genesis 12:9 reads:
וַיִּסַּ֣ע אַבְרָ֔ם הָל֥וֹךְ וְנָס֖וֹעַ הַנֶּֽגְבָּה׃
And Abram journeyed, [he] was walking and marching southward.
