With Torah and Love You Can Change the World?

What is this?

This piece of art and its message is the inspiration for this newsletter. It is a reminder that with wisdom, love, and action, we can each make the world a better place.

Each week, more or less, I delve into the ancient texts of the Jewish Tradition, reflect on my own life experiences, and try and tease out meaning.

In some cases, it is about drawing out a sense of how we can become more self-aware. In others, about how we can take one more step towards being the person we could be, or how we can do our part in adding kindness, gratitude, and justice to the world.

I invite you to join in the journey, exploring Jewish text, seeking wisdom, and becoming the best humans we can be.

So join us! Subscribing will get you full access to the newsletter and previous posts. Never miss an update.

Who am I?

My name is Jeremy Markiz, I’m a rabbi in the Washington, DC area. Professionally, I help Jewish organizations grow and communicate more clearly on the Internet. You can find more about that here and I write about it here.

When I’m not consulting with organizations and leaders, I write this newsletter and teach.
